I began shooting weddings in the summer of 2008. I was offered my first wedding from my friends dad. That was the best thing I ever did. From there, I got my second wedding. I realized something about photography that I couldn’t have learned in school, weddings offer unknown variables that make you think on your feet and be efficient. I love finding that odd angle that people don’t think of. I love seeing the mother of the brides face when the bride walks down the isle. These pictures make my job extremely fun and exciting.

Baughn Wedding

This was the very first wedding I photographed. Such a sweet couple! The groom is one of my good friends dad. Thats how I got the job. Low key and very special, this wedding definitely left an impression on me. It was such a celebration of love and commitment.

Photographed in May 2008 in Midtown Mobile.

Stricklin/Mayhall Wedding

Ashley got married during one of the most beautiful times of the year, Christmas. Her church was decorated in these gorgeous red poinsettias and had christmas lights up. So very pretty.

Starting mid morning, I photographed the entire process of her wedding. from getting ready to the final dance, I was there capturing every moment. Between my photos and my assistant’s photos, we took over
1400 images. This collection is a few from each portion of the day:getting ready, ceremony, and reception.
